Description

We were very pleasantly surprised to find a small flock of about 10 Cedar Waxwings on our Bradford Pear tree in the front yard this afternoon! These trees are flowering the earliest they ever have currently, but there are still many berries left over from last fall attached to the tree. I took this photo from my bedroom window on the second floor of our house. They allowed us to observe them and take many photos. I have never seen Waxwings even close to our yard before, so this was highly unusual. Hopefully, they’ll return soon!
