Description

Great Blue Herons are a common sight on the pond at Washington Crossing State park and always a the object of a good photo opportunity. But Red-winged Blackbirds spend a lot of time on the pond too. I was lucky enough to capture this photo as a Red-winged Blackbird flew across near the Great Blue Heron. The telephoto lens I was using makes the birds look much closer together than they really were.
