I spotted this Cardinal perched on a Beech tree limb in my backyard , It sat there for along time but eventually flew down to one of my hopper feeders and ate for a considerable length of time. It returned later and ate again. Cardinals are few and far between in this area, although I have heard singing this is the first one I have seen in the 18 years I have been living at this site .
