Cold damp, rainy day. Lots of woodpeckers at the suet feeder. ilolated, Red Belly, Hairy and Downy. Here, Female Downy feeds her two young offspring. She would take turns going between the feeder and each young.

A lovely shot. We have a female Downy who has developed a taste for hummingbird “nectar” at our feeder. Is this unusual?
