Description

This is one of the fledglings from the nest in my yard. They left the nest while I was at work, the little stinkers. I’d been photographing them ever since \i saw the pair building the nest in a tree cavity. I witnessed some amazing behavior, including a variety of sounds the adults made while tending to their brood. I could hear the chicks after they left the nest, begging for food and never really thought I’d get a glimpse of one.But, they stopped by yesterday for a brief but happy reunion.
