Sharpshinned hawk? My husband took this Saturday August 29, 2015 in front of our house. This is about 10 feet from where we normally do out FW counts.

Looks like a Cooper’s Hawk.
I’d have to agree that it’s a Cooper’s Hawk. The long body, position of the eye, rusty color on the nape and neck and the thick legs all point to Cooper’s hawk.
