This bird is an almost daily visitor and probably why we see many fewer birds around than we did previously. I think it is a Sharp-shinned hawk, but appreciate any confirmation or correction!
Predatory birds
I believe you are correct, it appears to have ”Pencil Thin legs” and a ”rounded top of the head”.
