I just joined FeederWatch, however I wanted to submit this photo from last year (2/17/2015). I noticed this goldfinch with an eye condition and since I volunteer in the avian nursery of the MN Wildlife Rehab Center, I sent this picture to the avian coordinator who confirmed a diagnosis of conjunctivitis. I was able to eventually catch her and she was successfully treated over a 4 week period. I was then able to release a healthy goldfinch back into my yard!
