These birds are regular visitors to the plantings around my yard. I have reported them in previous feeder watch seasons.
What state/county do you live in? I have seen one of these Red-whiskered Bulbuls on two different occasions in the Pasadena area of California. My field guide suggests that they are only found in the southern tip of Florida. I would be VERY curious to know where you have seen them.
