Walking along my favorite birding spot, I stopped to watch some chickadees in a nearby tree. When I zoomed in to see them, I found this red-eyed vireo silently darting about. I watched it for a while, picking about the leaves. Then, it snatched up a caterpillar and started beating it against the tree limbs. After it was sure its lunch was dead, it took off with its prize.
