While approaching the suet, the pine warbler landed on a branch in a small dogwood tree in my yard. The bird saw me close by but did not fly away. I was able to get the photograph at very close range with 200mm zoom.

Beautiful picture of this little pine warbler!
This is way more than a documentory shot of the warbler. More like fantastic fine art. The pose, composition, and color are perfection. What really stands out is the quality that very few images have – that magical balance between the subject and background. Very well done Kristin!
