Description

A majestic raven (aka “Arctic turkey”) soars overhead as we hike near Iqaluit, Nunavut, in Canada’s north. Its presence is betrayed only by the taffeta rustle of feathers. Watching the ravens up north, one gets a sense of their great intelligence. They have an amazing range of vocalizations, and often “talk” to each other in a language that seems almost understandable to our ears.
