This beautiful raven, the first one I had ever seen, flew beneath me at an overlook at my first visit to the Grand Canyon National Park last week (November 14, 2013). While the bird was close enough to touch, this photo is actually the top side of the bird with the breathtaking sheer drop to the floor of the Canyon beneath it.
