I found this black vulture and his buddies chowing down on a Roadkill raccoon a few years ago. One of them dragged the carcass into the bushes and left this guy behind. It was then that I noticed he seemed to have something stuck to his back. Then he started eating it! Lo and behold, turns out it was a bit of innards from an animal he’d been dining on previously. I thought he was pretty smart for having saved himself a snack for later.
