This is a Summer Tanager, a bird that usually lives farther south than Minnesota. It was at my feeder on May 27, 2013. I submitted a photo to Minnesota DNR and officials confirmed it was a Summer Tanager and not normally seen this far north. I had a rare sighting. It stayed for a day or so and moved on.
