Description

A friend and I were recently birding the Fort Edward Grassland area. We found a young Snowy Owl perched on a small building and it took flight. I had my camera near me when the owl circled back from behind us. I caught the movement out of the corner of my eye as it flew straight at me. I picked up the camera and got this shot as it flew past the car! What a wonderful surprise.
