Description

We’ve had hawks, deer, squirrels, even a Summer Tanager that was several hundred miles out of it’s range at our feeder, but on December 7th and 8th, 2013 we had a visitor at our feeder that I would never have expected for 2 reasons; A) Catbirds typically aren’t feeder birds, and B) it should have migrated by then. She stayed for 2 days, eating seed and drinking from the heated bird bath. We really hope she made it to her wintering grounds.
