Description

I captured these 2 Carolina Wrens who landed on the meal worm dish of my backyard feeder pole system the day after the blizzard of 2015. I usually only see the one Wren but today I was lucky enough to capture several shots of 2 eating cooperatively from the fresh stash of dried mealworms I put out for breakfast. That same day we had visits from 7 Bluebirds, 6 Robins, Bluejays, White Throated Sparrows and many more. I feel this picture best depicts the theme for this week’s photo submission, Bird Friendly Yards.
