Description

Taken in February 2012 I usually snap my bird photographs in the trees around various feeding stations at the Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm in Dayton, Ohio.

This particular afternoon the clouds had parted and the sun shining as the day came to a close. I hadn’t ever photographed a bird on this particular tree as they seem to give it a wide birth (and perhaps for good reason).

Once I got it home and on the computer I saw what I wanted to do with it and went for this 3:1 ratio so as to capture as much of the tree as well.

I actually had this image printed and framed professionally; my first time ever.
