Description

This chickadee sitting in the middle of my hand I’ve know since he fledged last summer(2013) I named him Chickalet. Chickalet’s parents, Alpha and Markxine, I’ve known for the last 4 years, and very well. Because Alpha and Markxine are so trusting of me, little Chickalet was too, although his other siblings were a little more skittish. The way chickalet is sitting in my hand is what he has done since the beginning and he still do. When Spring came he left the territory to try for his own brood, I thought I’d never see him again but Chickalet has returned to his father and mothers flock for another winter. So happy to have him again for another winter season
