I confess I am not fond of the starlings. They do have their own beauty, however and I captured this bird’s beautiful plumage during eight hours of sitting in a makeshift blind in my backyard on a cold and dreary day participating as a feederwatcher in the Austin Christmas Bird Count. It was a fun and educational day for me.
