Description

This pumpkin grew from a plant that sprouted on it’s own in one of my flower beds this summer. Too small to carve for Halloween, I decided to put it to good use as a bird feeder. I saved the seeds from it and added sunflower seeds to the mix. I put a string of Cheerios around the top as well. I get a lot of Chickadees and Nuthatches feeding from it. The Blue Jays try, but they don’t feel secure on the skewers I used for perches, and don’t stay.
