Description

I create bird feeders out of ice globes. The ice globes are made by filling a balloon with water, placing it outside in the winter to partially freeze, then breaking the balloon to release unfrozen water and the ice globe. I then apply a little water to a post and when the temps are below freezing (as they often are in northern Minnesota) the globe is “glued”/frozen onto the post. As the temperature rises any left over seed is dispersed to the ground feeders.
