Description

I love woodpeckers and I don’t catch them up close very often. After finishing putting out bird seed and suet for the birds. This male Red-bellied Woodpecker lands right on the tree in front of me. It’s color plumage was break taking. This was a one time offer for me. I was able to snap a photograph in time before the bird took off to a different direction.
