This leucistic American Goldfinch made an appearance at my backyard feeders at the end of November.
Week 6: Unexpected at the Feeder
Hi Kelly,
I have a beautiful leucistic Goldfinch who arrived early November 2016 and is still here. He looks a little different than yours in that his wings are white with only black bands. Lovely bird and easy for everyone to spot! I feel lucky to have him and am serving especially good bird seed this Thanksgiving week. Wish I had a photo, but my hands are shakey and cell phone isn’t that great.
