Description

When our backyard peach tree was dying, we decided to leave it and plant a new peach nearby. A pair of Nuttall’s Woodpeckers feed on the tree’s peeling bark, getting all sorts of good insects from underneath. This is our woodpecker feeding station! Our Audubon chapter promotes dead trees for wildlife, and so do we!
