Description

This is my re-purposed pumpkin. Suet takes the place of eyes, ears and nose. The mouth is carved out wider so birds will enter, and a pot of millet “grows” out of the cap. Dowels inserted into the pumpkin provide perches. This titmouse may be the first bird to discover the new feeder, but they’ve been coming ever since- the eyes are now almost gone.

This one made me laugh! Although I’ve seen, and made, pumpkin feeders, this one is the best by far! Plus, a Tuftie is visiting … my favourite bird.
