During the “Polar Vortex” winter storm of February 2013 we played host to a hungry crowd of 38 Yellow-rumped Warblers! They especially loved the homemade peanut butter pinecones hanging out my kitchen window!

This picture pulled me into the action and excitement of the birds as they feed. I can almost feel and hear the wing flutter. It is a stunning capture of these beauties.
