Description

Every winter, red-breasted sapsuckers return to the sap wells on this apple tree. They excavate more wells even though it doesn’t look like there is room. Other creatures that use the wells include Anna’s Hummingbirds, Oak Titmouse, Ruby-crowned Kinglets, honey bees and yellowjackets.
