In my opinion the best thing one can do for attracting birds is a running water feature, I set up an Outdoor Bird Studio near mine, by placing a branch just above it and a blue background behind it and some remote flash units and camera on a tripod with remote shutter trigger I stay inside my house and take some great pictures. Last Spring and Summer I photographed 41 species that I have never seen before, Warblers, Vireos, Thrush’s etc……
