Description

Taking photos at the feeders at the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge is always fun. They have a wide variety of birds for Minnesota in the winter and there is always a chance for a hawk to swoop in and catch some unaware birds (and photographers!).

Taking The Slow Way Down

Normally birds fly from the bird feeder to the ground, but this White-breasted Nuthatch decided to take the stairs! Climbing down the post for the feeder gave a unique view of this bird, from the top!
