With so much snow I couldn’t resist building a Snowman near my deeding stations and he was an instant hit -as soon as I added the birdseed that is! And of course the Chickadees where the first to come in. I took the picture from about three feet away from the Snowman. After years of feeding the local birds, the Chickadees of course have no fear of my presence and it offers up some great close-up opportunities.
