Description

Townsend’s Solitaire nestlings discovered while working on a nest-searching project in the Tenderfoot Wilderness outside of White Sulphur Springs, Montana.

Townsend’s Solitaire Nestlings

Townsend's Solitairs often nest on or near the ground in logs or in slops banks. They prefer to have an overhanging rock or log covering their nests, making them quite tricky to find!
