I did not know what bird this was until after it flew away from being photographed. Have never seen one here in many years of checking out the birds along our irrigation ditches.
Week 13: Thrushes
A pair of Western Bluebirds were spotted last week along our irrigation ditch in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, New Mexico. After years of bird watching here, this is the first time I have seen them.
