Taken summer 2013. female ruby throated humming bird with bright red bee balm. I have a whole series of this hummingbird feeding on this flower, including several ‘ideal hummingbird photos’. I chose this one because it’s looking right a me, instead of the flower. Canon EOS 60D, Tamron 28-300 lens at 300mm, 1/640 sec, f6.3, ISO 400.
