A Dark-eyed Junco landed on a snow covered juniper branch and cast a contemplative glance off in the distance. The steely gray colors of the bird blended so perfectly with the blue juniper berries and the blue cast of the snowy background. It was such a serenely beautiful and peaceful scene with such quiet elegance.
Week 7: New World Sparrows & Allies
You get my vote. A common bird highlighted by being in a nice setting. Just the right amount of snow, a few berries, sharp picture, and an uncluttered background. Well done.
