A member of a birding group invited all the other members of the group, including us, to her house in the Manzano Mountain to observe hummingbirds (her house is on the migration flyway). I captured this shot from standing literally a foot away from one of her many hummingbird feeders.

What a great photo!! Takes a lot of patience to achieve such a great composition and clarity. It almost appears as if the bird is looking at the photographer as well as the photographer looking at the bird!
