Description

Last July my husband and I welcomed a beautiful brood of three baby bluebirds. We took pictures, cheered them on, and they all flew the coop together! However, they didn’t stay gone for long. They stayed through the fall and when it was time to migrate….. they didn’t! They have stayed together… and with us through the winter. The day I took this photo, in mid-January 2016, we put out some dried meal worms on a washcloth on top of their old homestead as a snow and ice storm was bearing down on us. We affectionately call them “the kids”… Mom and her brood!
