I was so thrilled to be able to get every single distinct marking of this beloved Warbler along with his rump ta-boot in one single frame! 😉 It’s like watching one look into a mirror…but actually two identical males sharing sweetly no less after a very long journey as this was the first day spotted last spring.

Submitted this at BirdWatchingDaily.com which they later picked as photo of the week without even entering it for that category or purpose. How rare it is to get every single marking associated with a species in one picture. Was I giddy! lol 🙂 Being laid up a few years now at such a young age but blessed where we live in the country. Nature, my favorite feathered friends & a camera have saved me. I’m trying really hard to get better with it, making & selling calendars. I’ve been a writer too, so known as a “Writeographer” sounds good to me. 😉 Birds are angels in disguise, being infatuated with them as long as I remember. Now I sorta plan on becoming one someday 😉 A bird angel…able to visit anyone-anywhere-as any species, in the next lifetime along side GOD. Wouldn’t that be so cool!!! 🙂 PEACE <3

Thank you-always have it close by….Lake Superior is a mile out our N. window-forest on our E. side. A 17 acre Lake (“Tear”) & 5 acre field in our South back yard & Pines with very bushy thickets to the West seeing the sun set. So many species love our 36 acre property. Hubby is making Bluebird & Wood Duck houses right now. 🙂
