This is not a quality picture by any stretch, but the Hawk, snow, and Cardinal on a Winter’s afternoon were too wonderful a combination not to share.
Week 5: Cardinalidae
Species: Red-shouldered Hawk
This cardinal was unconcerned about the Red-Shouldered Hawk that was perched on the fence. Had it been a Cooper's, there wouldn't have been a little bird in sight.
