The pistachios were the things most often left behind in our seed mix. Then, suddenly, they were all disappearing. I never knew who was taking them until I got a couple photos of the jays grabbing as many as they could. If you look closely in the photo there are snowflakes on the jay’s feathers. The rain was starting to freeze. I guess he can be excused for wanting to grab as much food and energy as possible!
