Description

As we were leaving the Cape May Zoo in NJ this past summer I spotted some odd looking birds out near the parking lot. Their colorful helmeted horned head and polka dot-like feathers caught my attention so I took a few pictures. I thought they were exotic birds and wondered why they were outside the zoo’s entrance. As I reviewed my pictures and researched what type of birds they were I found out that they are native to Africa and raised like chicken.
