While visiting Arizona we would constantly see flashes of the quails running in the dessert never getting to observe them for long. One day while taking a hike we came upon this guy on top a ranch entrance gate who obviously felt quite at home and safe perched high above us and gave us some serious posing. I think he may have thought the horse was family as they appear to have similar colors!!!!
