Late one August afternoon I was sitting out back enjoying the breeze and the bird antics. I always have a small camera with me should an opportunity present itself for photos. The Goldfinches were plentiful that summer which means they were feisty and not willing to share the feeders with other birds. This photo captures that attitude quite well: this male finch is in no mood to share his bounty and the chickadee is clearly taken aback!
