This bushtit fell asleep in the holly tree while foraging one spring day. I love watching the bushtits flit around from tree to tree to feeder to tree and onward, tweeting as they travel. When they are hanging on the suet feeder, I call them the ‘vampire bushtits’- they look like hanging bats. They may be gray with a bit of brown, but they are fascinating to watch and not boring at all!
