Description

As I watched an American Robin from our kitchen window, he at first would fly up to the feeder, sit on the side an enjoy some bird food, as he had done often. Then he changed his approach and began to leap up from the ground and snatch a bit of food from the bottom of the feeder. With camera in hand I began attempting to catch him in the act. This is one of the nicer photos, wings out stretched, a morsel of food in his mouth and feet dangling below.
