When I notice the Blue Jays sounding the alarm, the birds scattering and then, complete silence – I can usually find a hawk of some kind in the yard.

This Cooper may be in the shadows – but there is just enough light to highlight this bird’s eye! And that is what caught my eye when I was browsing the Bspotter photos. Nice.
