Red-bellied woodpeckers briefly landed close by each other on a branch that actually has two separate perches that just can not be seen because the female is on it. I went out to photograph birds not far from bird feeders at the Cheesequake State Park nature center in Matawan, NJ. It started to snow while I was & I quickly captured these two together before they went in near the feeders to grab a peanut.

Great photo! Red-bellied woodpeckers, from my experience, rarely perch together or visit my suet at the same time. Once in awhile I can count two of these birds for feederwatch.
You really captured a beautiful scene at just the right moment with that snow falling The eyes are captivating, especially when the photo is enlarged.
I have to vote for your photo of one of my favorite birds.
