Boundary Bay Dyke Trail, Delta, BC, Canada
One of three Short-Eared Owls we saw actively hunting at the Boundary Bay Wildlife Management Area. This one did a fairly closeup flyby to my camera. With the two Northern Harriers and three Bald Eagles also patrolling the area, there was plenty of competition for the shorebirds and songbirds in the area.
