After seeing the Towhee on a bag of bird food I wanted to add one to my life listed of birds I have sighted. I researched their habitat and thought of an area nearby that would have that kind of landscape. I went to a nearby park that has a conservation area with lots of undergrowth. I couldn’t believe it when I actually spotted this one and a female too. That was a very exciting day. He is such a beautiful bird that one hardly ever sees unless you are really looking for it …unless of course one comes to your feeder. That hasn’t happened to me yet!
